9. Climb Walsh’s Pyramid for breathtaking views andspectacular scenery. It’s unbelievably steep  and long, but it’s well worth it.

10.Hike up the Barron Gorge, and see the Barron waterfalls from the bottom, and watch the backpackers at the top wondering how to get where you are.

Visiting Birmingham

Are you planning to goto Birmingham, England for a weekend? There are several things you can do there from nightlife to sight seeing. Birmingham is famous for being the second biggest city in England. It is also know as the industrial city. There are various things to see and do in Birmingham for example relaxing outside in modern furniture of the bars located in a beautiful canal that runs through Broad Street. Broad Street includes all top bars, clubs and casinos and probably is the best night life in Birmingham. There are also other places where you can enjoy a good nightlife such as Arcadian and Mailbox but Broad Street has few more bars than these two places.

 

Once you are in Birmingham you have to visit the chocolate factory. You will be able to get to the factory on the bus from town centre or drive there, which will take you about 30 minutes to get there. Or you can also catch a train to Bournville from New Street Station in town. This is worthwhile if you are a chocolate lover. You will be able to taste all types of chocolates and also see how it is made. This is one of the best tourist attractions in Birmingham.

 

Another big attraction in Birmingham comes in the shape of shopping mall named Bull ring. This was once one of the biggest shopping mall in Europe. The mall is shaped as a bull hence it is called bull ring. Women love shopping and this is the place to start off your day, then walk about 15 minutes to get to broad street and then end your evening there. The bullring includes big brand shops such as Debanhams, FCUK, Zara, Selfridges, Top shop, River Island and many more. The interior of bull ring is to die for the seating area looks like they have includes club furniture to give it a cool and funky look. In the middle there is a large seating area for people to enjoy some time or a smoke, which includes reception furniture to give it a classy look but they are very comfy.

London is serviced by 5 major airports, simply because of the huge number of tourists that visit the capital each year. Each of these airports offers good links to the city centre; a fact that makes them popular destinations for visitors and commuters alike.

Luton Airport – Luton Airport is actually located in the county of Bedfordshire, approximately 55km north of London’s centre. Being a small, single runway airport it is commonly used by commuters traveling to destinations in Europe and for visitors arriving on budget airlines. There are bus services that run into London 24 hours per day, the most popular of which are easyBus and Green Line.

London City Airport – Although this small inner-city airport only offers a single runway it is highly popular with business travelers destined for the financial district of London. Located close to Canary Wharf the London City Airport is just 11km from the city centre and is well connected via the Docklands Light Railway and a plethora of bus services. It is worth mentioning that planes landing here must be able to perform short take-offs and equally short landings.

Alternatives to the 5 London Airports include the centrally located Birmingham Airport and Manchester Airport to the north. Both of these large international airports have very good transport links to London and the rest of the UK, meaning you can be anywhere within the country with just a few hours traveling.

To make people aware of what passengers can and cannot carry, the airport authorities have put up signs with pictures with regard to liquids, gels, lotion, toothpaste, baby oil, aerosols (hairspray), perfume bottles, bottled water, and much more. If the rules are violated the items are discarded at the time of security check. So to avoid unnecessary embarrassment it is better to follow the rules and all is well with everyone. Consider Nottingham and most people remember the legend of Robin Hood, Sherwood Forest and the Sherrif of Nottingham and although this attracts many people year after year there is a great deal more to the region than meets the eye.
